Teaching Staff

All teachers employed by the Children’s Center are selected on the basis of their education and experience in early childhood, rapport with children and ability to implement the developmentally appropriate curriculum and philosophy of the program. The lead teachers either have or are working on 2 and 4-year degrees in early childhood education or equivalent. Many of the teacher assistants have, or are working on, their degree in early childhood education.

Training

All staff members attend at least 30 hours of annual, ongoing training at local, state and national conferences on early childhood. All staff are also certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
